  1. Right Click to save the outline below to your hard drive. Open it in Animation Shop and export it to Paint Shop Pro.

  2. Right Click to save the color guide below to your hard drive:

  3. Magnify to 800%. Set your Paint Brush settings to: Square, Size 1, Hardness, Density, Thickness and Opacity all at 100, and Step at 25. and draw over the outline of the Candle Flames using colors #1, #2 and #3. Use color #4 for the wicks as shown below:

  4. Draw over the outline of the Candles and Plate with color #5. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Candles and Plate, Flood Fill with color #6. Draw over the outline of the Cake with color #7. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Cake, Flood Fill with color #8. Your image should now look like this:

  5. Use the Magic Wand to select inside one of the Candles - Float Selection and apply following cutout: Shadow Color = #5, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 2. Repeat for the other Candle. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Plate - Float Selection and apply following cutout: Shadow Color = #5, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 4. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Lower Portion of the Cake - Float Selection and apply following cutout: Shadow Color = #7, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 10. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Top of the Cake - Float Selection and apply following cutout: Shadow Color = #7, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 6. Leave selected - Adjust - Add Noise - Uniform 5% and MONOCHROME Checked. Your Image should now look like this:

  6. Reduce magnification back to original size of 100% and your finished image should now look like this:
