  1. New Image - Transparent - 100 x 100 pixels - Magnify to 800%. Set your Paint Brush settings to: Square, Size 1, Hardness, Density, Thickness and Opacity all at 100, and Step at 25; and using the guide below draw the outline as follows: Hat - Color #800000, Fur - Color #C0C0C0.


    Any line over 2 pixels in length has been labeled accordingly.

  2. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Hat and Flood Fill with Color #C00000 - Leave Selected - Float Selection and apply following cutout: Shadow Color = #800000, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 10. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Fur Ball and Flood Fill with Color #FCFCFC - Leave Selected - Float Selection and apply following cutout: Shadow Color = #C0C0C0, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 3. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Fur Trim and Flood Fill with Color #FCFCFC - Leave Selected - Float Selection and apply following cutout: Shadow Color = #C0C0C0, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 3. Your image should now look like this:

  3. Now draw some fuzz on your Fur Pieces using Color #C0C0C0 as shown below:

    Reduce magnification back to original size of 100% and your finished image should now look like this:
