Open the outline below in Animation Shop and export it to Paint Shop Pro.
Set your Paint Brush settings to: Square, Size 1, Hardness, Density, Thickness and Opacity all at 100, and Step at 25. Now draw over the outline as below using color #961A2F for the rose and color #2D5428 for the leaves, as shown below:
Select inside all areas of the rose and flood fill with color #E1576E. Float Selection and apply following cutout: Color = #961A2F, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 9. Leave selected - Adjust - Add Noise: 10% Uniform. Your image should now look like this:
Select inside all areas of the leaves and stem and flood fill with color #66B559. Float Selection and apply following cutout: Color = #2D5428, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 9. Leave selected - Adjust - Add Noise: 10% Uniform. Your image should now look like this:
Using color #2D5428 draw in the leaf details as shown below:
Reduce magnification back to original size of 100% and your finished image should now look similar to this:
