Before starting this tutorial you will need to download Mary Dog's special Peanut Butter & Jelly tube and install it in your tube directory. You can do so now by clicking here!
- Open a new image size 100 x 100 with a transparent background and 24 bit color. Magnify the image to 600%. Using my guide below, draw the outline with your paint brush settings at: Shape - Round,
Opacity, Thickness and Hardness at 100, Size 1, Blend Mode at Normal. Use the provided color guide to set your foreground color to accordingly, Color #2 for the Lid Outline, Color #1 for the Jar Outline,
Color #3 for the Label Outline. I have provided a number representing the length of lines which are
greater than 1 or 2 pixels in length accordingly next to that line.

- Use the Magic Wand to select the inside area of the lid and flood fill with color #5 from the color guide, Selections Float,
Effects - 3D - Cutout: Vertical & Horizontal both at 0, Opacity at 100%, Blur at 2, Color #2 from the color guide. Deselect.
- Use the Magic Wand to select the inside area of the label and flood fill with color #4 from the color guide, Selections Float,
Effects - 3D - Cutout: Vertical & Horizontal both at 0, Opacity at 100%, Blur at 6, Color #3 from the color guide. Deselect.
- Use the Magic Wand to select the inside area of the Jar, Use the provided PB & Jelly Tube you downloaded to fill the selection with just Grape Jelly. Keep clicking until you have the Jelly the way you want it.
Deselect.
- Add a New Layer, Draw inside the Label with color #3 from the color guide as shown below:
- Merge Layers Visible. Reduce magnification to 100%. Use Text Tool to center some text across your label using Arial Font Size 3 and Color #1 from the color guide. That's it, you're done!
