This recipe is for PSP 8, however; will work with PSP 7 as well! Obtain the materials needed. Download the zip file by Clicking Here!
- Open a new image 350 x 250 with a white background. Make your foreground and background colors both white.
Using the CASUAL font size 48, center text on the image. Leave your text selected until you are told to deselect it.
Go to Adjust - Add Noise - 100% Random. Repeat noise with same settings 2 more times.
- Go to Adjust - Add Noise - Median Filter - Setting of 3.
- Go to Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - Settings: Hue 13, Saturation 90.
- Go to Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Hue-Saturation-Lightness - Settings: Click on Colorize, Hue 38, Saturation 99, Lightness 6.
- Click on the Spray Can - Settings: Shape Round, Size 20, Hardness 5, Step 1, Density 40, Thickness 40, Rotation 0, Opacity 70, Blend Mode Normal, Rate 5.
Set your Foreground Color at #B55A00 and use the PARCHMENT texture. Have your background color white. Lightly spray over your text.
- Go to Effects - 3D - Cutout - Settings: Opacity 69, Blur 20, Vertical & Horizontal both at -2 (minus 2), Shadow Color Black, Fill Color UNCHECKED.
Repeat cutout but change the Shadow Color to White, and the Vertical and Horizontal settings to 2.
- Go to Selections - Invert. Open the pizza background image you downloaded, flood fill the selection with this pattern, and leave selected. Go to Adjust - Brightness & Contrast - Settings:
Brightness 20%, Contrast 0%. Go to Adjust - Blur - Blur More one time. Go to Adjust - Softness - Soften one time.
- Go to Selections - Invert. Go to Effects - 3D - Drop Shadow - Settings: Vertical and
Horizontal 4, Opacity 69, Blur 20, Shadow Color Black. Repeat Drop Shadow one more time.
- Deselect Text. Go to Image - Add Border - Settings: Symmetrical, Size 15, Color White. Use the Magic Wand to select this white border, and apply steps 1 thru 6 to the border.
Leave the border selected, Go to Effects - 3D - Drop Shadow - Settings: Vertical and Horizontal 0, Opacity 69, Blur 20, Color Black. Apply this Drop Shadow 2 more times. Deselect.
- This step is optional using Eye Candy 4000 - Selections - Select All - Selections - Modify - Contract - 25 pixels.
Selections - Invert. Eye Candy - Jiggle - Settings: Movement Type Bubbles, Bubble Size 64,
Warp Amount 10, Twist 60, Seamless Tile UNCHECKED, Random Seed 1.
NOTE: If you do not have Eye Candy you can make a similar effect to this by using PSP 8 and the Warp Brush. If you use the warp brush, leave the image completely deselected and slowly
pull the crust area towards the pizza center.
