Open the outline below in Animation Shop and export it to Paint Shop Pro. Magnify to 800%.
Right Click to save the color guide below to your hard drive.
Set your Paint Brush settings to: Square, Size 1, Hardness, Density, Thickness and Opacity all at 100, and Step at 25.
Use the Magic Wand to select everywhere inside the Bow & Ribbons and Flood Fill with Color #4.
Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Wrapping Paper and Flood Fill with Color #2.
Your image should now look like this:
Use the Magic Wand to select Both Upper Outer Sides of the Bow - Float Selection - Apply Cutout - Settings: V = 0, H = -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 4, Color #3.
Use the Magic Wand to Select Both Upper Inner Sides of the Ribbon - Adjust - Brightness & Contrast with these settings: Brightness = (minus) 23 and Contrast = 0.
Use the Magic Wand to select Both the Lower Ribbon Portions of the Bow - Float Selection - Apply Cutout - Settings: V = 0, H = -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 4, Color #3.
Use the Magic Wand to select the Center of the Bow - Float Selection - Apply Cutout - Settings: V = 0, H = -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 4, Color #3.
Use the Magic Wand to select the Ribbon going Up & Down the Package - Float Selection - Apply Cutout - Settings: V = 0, H = -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 4, Color #3.
Use the Magic Wand to select Both Sections of the Ribbon going across the Package - Float Selection - Apply Cutout - Settings: V = 0, H = -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 4, Color #3. Your image should now look like this:
Use the Magic Wand to select the Lid Portion of the Package - Float Selection - Apply Cutout - Settings: V = 0, H = -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 4, Color #1.
Use the Magic Wand to select Both the Upper Portions of the Package - Float Selection - Apply Cutout - Settings: V = 0, H = -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 4, Color #1.
Use the Magic Wand to select Both the Lower Portions of the Package - Float Selection - Apply Cutout - Settings: V = 0, H = -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 4, Color #1. Your image should now look like this:
Add a new layer and draw Snowflakes on the Package with Color #5 as shown below:
Reduce magnification back to original size of 100% and your finished image should now look like this:
