  1. Open the outline below in Animation Shop and export it to Paint Shop Pro.  Magnify to 800%.

  2. Right Click to save the color guide below to your hard drive.

  3. Set your Paint Brush settings to:  Square, Size 1, Hardness, Density, Thickness and Opacity all at 100, and Step at 25.

  4. Use the Magic Wand to select everywhere inside the Wreath and Flood Fill with Color #2.

  5. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Berries and Flood Fill with Color #4.

  6. Use the Magic Wand to select everywhere inside the Bow and Flood Fill with Color #6.   Your image should now look like this:

  7. Use the Magic Wand to select everywhere inside the Wreath - Float Selection - Apply Cutout - Settings: V = 2, H = -2, Opacity 100%, Blur 7, Color #1.  Repeat Cutout changing Vertical to -2 and Horizontal to 2.

  8. Use the Magic Wand to select inside every section of the bow (EXCEPT both Upper Inner Sides) - Float Selection - Apply Cutout - Settings: V = 1, H = -1, Opacity 100%, Blur 3, Color #5.  Repeat Cutout changing Vertical to -1 and Horizontal to 1.

  9. Use the Magic Wand to Select Both Upper Inner Sides of the Ribbon - Adjust - Brightness & Contrast with these settings:  Brightness = (minus) 23 and Contrast = 0.

  10. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Berries - Float Selection - Apply Cutout - Settings: V&H=0, Opacity 100%, Blur 2, Color #3.  Your image should now look like this:

  11. Add a new layer and draw highlights on the Berries with Color #7 as shown below:

  12. Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - Setting: 0.50 - Layers Merge Visible.

  13. Shade the Wreath with Colors #1, #8, and #9 by randomly painting one pixel at a time as shown below:  

  14. Reduce magnification back to original size of 100% and your finished image should now look like this:
