  1. Right Click to save the outline below to your hard drive. Open it in Animation Shop and export it to Paint Shop Pro.

  2. Right Click to save the color guide below to your hard drive:

  3. Magnify to 800%. Set your Paint Brush settings to: Square, Size 1, Hardness, Density, Thickness and Opacity all at 100, and Step at 25. and draw the over the outline as below using color #1 for the Star, color #3 for the tree, and color #5 for the trunk. Your image should now look like this:

  4. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Star, Flood Fill with color #2. Float Selection and apply following cutout: Shadow Color = #1, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 3. Leave selected - Adjust - Add Noise - Uniform 6%. Use the Magic Wand to select inside all of the Tree Selections, Flood Fill with color #4. Float Selection and apply following cutout: Shadow Color = #3, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 12. Leave selected - Adjust - Add Noise - Uniform 6%. Use the Magic Wand to select inside the Trunk, Flood Fill with color #6. Float Selection and apply following cutout: Shadow Color = #5, Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 12. Leave selected - Adjust - Add Noise - Uniform 6%. Your image should now look like this:

  5. Apply shading to the Star using colors #7 and #8 as shown below:

  6. OPTIONAL:Add decoration to your tree using colors of your choice, as I did below:

  7. Reduce magnification back to original size of 100% and your finished image should now look like this:
